Miss Missy Scarlett (known to her friends as "Red," and known by her enemies in... less flattering terms) invites you to a shooting gallery beyond compare on the ColecoVision! Step right up, take your Roller Controller out of its holster, and try your luck at a variety of games that push your  speed and accuracy to the ultimate test.

This is an early build of Shootin'anny, with just one mini-game... Liquor Cabinet. Shoot all drinks on the shelves to build up your score. Hit Gold Star beer to boost the multiplier and really pump up those puntos! Fire on a stick of dynamite, and you'll blow up the whole bar... whoops. Whatever happens, your score will be compared against the target score, and Red will react accordingly. (And boobily, if you're really good at this.)

Later builds are planned to have other challenges, including:

Henhouse Havoc: Every few seconds, twelve henhouse doors open. Six contain chickens. One contains a fox! Get him! Get him good! Gold stars increase the multiplier and make the felonious furball worth even more points.

High Card: Red holds up pairs of numbered cards. Shoot the one with the highest value! Keep the streak going to build a multiplier, but don't shoot Red! She really hates that!

One Shot, One Grouse: At a random time, a grouse appears from the brush and attempts to fly away in zig-zagging patterns. Blast the bird with a single bullet to win the mini-game and have dinner for later. (The blast cartoonishly pre-plucks the target, but Red will consult her bestie Ms. Dash for flavor before it goes in the oven.)

What's For Lunch? Four different livestock species appear in a field. An icon appears on the top of the screen, indicating which one you should blast.

Mine, All Mine! A wick trails up to a keg of dynamite at the top of the screen, but pesky goats attempt to nibble on the wick, ruining your work. Keep them from the center of the screen so the wick can burn down to open the door to a silver mine!

If all of this is starting to sound familiar, it should. Shootin'anny is based loosely on the Namco arcade game Point Blank. I wanted to see if that general design could be adapted to the ColecoVision with a trackball. So far, so good! But I wanna know if you guys would like to see more than the bite-sized taste offered here. I'll make it... if I knew people wanted to play it.
