Solar Plexus for Atari 2600

Solar Plexus is my first (and so far, only!) Atari 2600 game, a simple dodging challenge that brings to mind both Solar Fox and Dodge It for the Fairchild Channel F. It's also the first ever Atari 2600 game written in Fred Quimby's Batari BASIC and released on cartridge.

As stated earlier, this game is simple. Batari BASIC has evolved in the twenty years since its debut, bringing everything from not-Super Mario Bros to not-Sonic the Hedgehog to the stone-age Atari 2600. Solar Plexus is far less ambitious than that, but I'm still proud of it. How could I not be? I made an Atari 2600 game. I friggin' made an Atari 2600 game.

I'm posting Solar Plexus here on Itch.io, partially because someone requested it, but also for historical purposes. You'll probably see my port of GORF for the Game Boy Advance sooner or later, perhaps as soon as this year! (What's left of it.)
